Manu Tukutuku Kite

A couple of days ago our class went down to the river to cut flax. With the flax we cut, we made Manu Tukutuku kites, along with bamboo sticks. We had to persevere. After a couple of days my flax looked like bamboo!
I enjoyed cutting the flax.
I found it easy to tie the sticks together with the flax.
I found it tricky to weave the flax around the sticks.
My digital learning object shows that I can persevere.
