The Earthquake

Today there was an earthquake at 2:27 am. I could feel it pretty well from where I was. My family was in the tsunami alert place so we had to get to high ground. I wrote a small but true story about it and I put it on some slides. I enjoyed writing the story because I already knew what to put in there because I was there. I found it tricky to find an image because there were not many that I could find. Next time I would change the background on the 2nd slide because it is hard to read off the colour yellow.

More Duplo

Today I thought that I should play with Duplo instead of playing on computers. I made the floor is lava.

3D Dinosaur

Today Mum said I should make a dinosaur with a wooden puzzle and post it on my blog.
I enjoyed popping the wood out.

Cool Looking Red-Headed Yellow-Winged Bird

(Please look at the video first for laughs! and a tiny problem with two wasps!)
Today my brother (The one with NO glasses) saw a bird from out the window and said 'TEE TEET!' We came to see what it was and saw two really cool birds (The Green Bird and the Red-Headed Yellow-Winged Bird). I turned on my laptop and we all ran outside. They flew away as soon as I got ready for the photo. Then after a while we saw the Red-Headed Yellow-Winged Bird flying from place to place. So I got us together and took the video. I was so excited when we caught it on camera. I have researched what kind of birds the Red-Headed Yellow-Winged Bird name was and it was the European Goldfinch. They eat seeds of weeds and strawberry seeds better watch out!
We enjoyed catching it on camera.
We found it tricky to find the bird.

Duplo Day

Today I thought that I should play with Duplo instead of playing on computers. I made the little yellow digger from the book, a castle, a train and a gym. My brother helped me make the digger.
I enjoyed making a castle.
I found it easy to make a train.
I found it tricky to make the gym.
Next time I would change the colour of the flowers on the castle.

Diplodocus lego

Yesterday I could not sleep. Before I went to bed I started making things out of lego my mum got for me. I made the body then I had to go to bed. So when dad left the bedroom, I turned on my lamp and got to work. There were LOTS of extra pieces!
I enjoyed going to sleep that night.
I found it easy to attach the eyes.
I found a tricky to do the white things for the feet because they didn't connect properly.
Next time I will change where the extra pieces go.

Treehouse

Today I got bored so I decided to play with blocks. I made an treehouse.
I enjoyed making the trunk.
I found it easy to make the swing.
