Mecodema Punctellum

For a couple of weeks we have been a report on an extinct native animal. I chose is Mecodema Punctellum because I love bugs and it was the only bug. Mecodema Punctellum is a very hard one so I did not write much.
I found it easy to find an image of the mecodema punctellum.
I found it tricky to find information because it is extinct and not much was written about it.
Next time I will change what I put in the diet and find more things on it.

Mecodema Punctellum

This is where I got my information: https://enacademic.com/dic.nsf/enwiki/5974665

Classification

In maori Mecodema punctellum (me-co-de-ma punk-tell-um) is panipini mecodema. Its greek name is actually its name.

Nothing is known about its habitat but it could have been living under lage logs. They also could have lived in native forests.

All I know about its diet is that it eats snails.
