May Reflection
Today we were doing our May Reflection. We need to do it every month because we can sit there and remember what we did. Have you done a monthly reflection? I enjoyed learning this month because I learnt a whole lot of stuff! I found it tricky to write down the trivia because I could not think of any questions.

Copyright
This week for cybersmart we were learning about copyright. Our task was to choose non-copyrighted pictures of new pictures matching the old ones. Did you know, copyright lasts 70 years? I enjoyed learning about copyright because I see the copyright sign everywhere. I found it tricky to match up the pictures because the old washing machine looked really different in the olden days!
Jesus' Ascension
For two days we have been making a google drawing about Jesus' Ascension. Jesus' Ascension is when Jesus went up into heaven. I enjoyed changing the background because I was allowed to be as creative as I wanted to. I found it tricky to find a disciple because there was no silhouette version. I hope you like it!
Future Jail
This week for reading we were learning how to analyse and synthesize. We had to make something old from either this year or ages ago. I chose a jail. I enjoyed making the jail because I was trying to think of things that are very modern then make them even more modern. I found it tricky to draw it because I am a bad drawer.
Here it is:
Museum of Technology
3 days ago, we went to the Museum of Technology. The museum had loads of stuff from the olden days like old calculators and old wheelchairs. I learnt how the jails and libraries used to look like. Did you know they had video games in the olden days? I found it tricky to learn that calculators worked by turning gears instead of pressing buttons.

Bee Bots
This week for inquiry we have been learning how code. We had little robots that looked like bees that we had to get to our number. My number was 14. My code was 8x West Left turn 90* 2x South. Bee bots are tiny bees that you code to move in the direction that you want it to go. Did you know when Bee Bots ar charging their eyes glow red? But when they are fully charged they glow green? I enjoyed coding the Bee Bots because it was challenging. I found it tricky to know how far on step was for the Bee Bots because it was less than one of my feet. So I went on my tippy toes and walked like that and it worked.
Here is a picture of a Bee Bot:
Hi My Name Is Kylah in Sign language
This week we were learning to analyse and synthesize. We learnt how to say hi my name is then your name in sign language. I enjoyed learning my name because I did not have that much to learn. I found it tricky to do the vowels. Then Mrs Naden said each finger was a vowel. Next time I would try to do some common phrases.
My Sisters Finger
This week for writing we have been learning how to use a hook to grab the reader's attention. I chose to make a story about my sisters finger. In the holidays my sister was outside my room and me and my brother were inside. The door was open and my brother closed it. It turned out my sisters finger was in the hinges and it cut her left pinky. If you like the hook of my story comment for a part 2. Here is my story.Slam!
Slam!
'AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!'
My sisters finger was arched to the side like a bow. Her finger was a flopping bunny ear. One bloody bone poked out of her finger. Mum chucked her into the car.
VRRRM!
Off they went to the hospital.

ANZAC Postcard and Diary Entry
This week for writing we have been learning how to analyse and synthesize. We had to make a postcard home and a diary entry from the perspectives of the WW heroes. I enjoyed making an envelope for the postcard because I could design it anyway I wanted. I found it tricky to make the red circle because it kept ripping. Next time I would put more on the postcard.

The Sign Of The Cross
This week fr homework Mrs Steele told us to show the little kids how to do the sign of the cross. We have to do the sign of the cross with our right hand but for this we needed to use our left. Why? Because the little kids will mirror you. I enjoyed making the video because I like helping. I found it tricky to do it with my left because I always do it with my left. Next time I would try to make it more helpful and mention my name.
