Frida Kahlo Art

At the end of last term we started doing art by are artist called Frida Kahlo. Frida Kahlo was a famous Mexican artist in the 1900s. She used lots of facial hair in her art pieces to make them more realistic. She suffered from a disease called Polio at the age 6. She also almost died from a bus crash at 18.

I enjoyed painting because I love creating things and drawing people. I also liked learning about Frida Kahlo because hearing people's story is really fun.

I found it tricky to draw the eyes because I make them at different levels everytime. So I drew a line using my ruler to draw a line and based the eyes off that.

Next time I would change the pattern on the shirt because I mostly squigilled on the paper and added flowers. Next time I would add triangles, squares and circles.
