Today for Cybersmart we were learning how to make a GIF on Canva. GIF stands for Generated Image File. We made a GIF about staying sunsmart during these hot days of Summer.
I enjoyed learning about GIFs because it is so fun learning about new stuff! Like, how GIFs can been seen on every type of device and how lots of people use them everyday.
I found it tricky to make it look animated because it had to be lower than 20 seconds. So I made each slide about 0.3 seconds long. It made my whole thing 19 seconds.
Next time I would add another sunsmart rule like play in the shade for it to be more interesting. I would also change the background on some of the slides.
Here is my Gif:

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed watching your Sun-Smart GIF.
I learnt about how to be Sun-Smart.
Maybe next time you could include some ways to entertain yourself when you have to sit out of the sun.

Kia ora Kylah,
ReplyDeleteWE are Room 6 at St Mary's.
We liked the girl who rubbed the sunscreen in.
We liked it when the person got the water.
We liked it when the hat was put on.
We learnt that you were using a different App to make the GIF.
MRs Torrie is going to investigate to see if we can make GIFs on our iPads.
