Yesterday I found an injured boy butterfly. I kept it in a safe place all night so nothing would happen to it. It was still there when I looked this morning. The butterfly I found had 4 legs and a broken wing. My Dad took some photos of it so I can put it on my blog. So far I have been calling it Dudey. Females tend to have rounder abdomens. Males have a slit at the tip, and females have a round holes where the eggs are laid.
Fakaalofa lahi atu Kylah,
ReplyDeleteI wonder if a cat got it or it's just old. I know we talked about how to tell butterflies apart in class during Term 1. Maybe you could tell your readers how to tell male and female butterflies apart then update your blog.
