James Busby Arrives In The Bay Of Islands

Today in history we were learning about James Busby. James Busby came to New Zealand in 1831 on the HMS Imogene. He came to New Zealand at the request of King William IV to help ease raising tensions between European settlers and local Maori. He was given no resources or any proper authority to achieve this.
I found it easy to click on all the links.
I found it tricky to write a few short paragraphs on James Busby.
My digital learning object shows that I can take a screenshot.

  1. Namaste Kylah,
We can see James Busby arrived because that's the title. What else did you learn?

    2. Aloha Kylah,
Thank you for the extra information. Did James Busby succeed in creating peace between Europeans and Māori?
