Writing Journal
This week for writing we have been learning how to summarize. We had to fill out a journal one task per day. I chose to do a six sentence story. It is about a grasshopper named Hugo. Read my story to learn more. I enjoyed writing the story because I love writing books. I found it tricky to come up with a fifth sentence because It was about how they felt. It was a sad situation so I made him sad. Here it is:

Did you get the idea of a grasshopper from your grasshopper you made Yesterday for your nature art? I'm really glad Hugo found other insects eat. I like how you have said what you found tricky, I can see you made sentence 5 work for your story,awesome! Great to see you blogging today Kylah.

ReplyDeleteYour 6 sentence story is great. Poor Hugo - he would have felt bad about eating all those flies.
Do you remember how we were learning how to start a sentence with an adjective or a verb? Maybe you could try doing that next time.
