Today for my summer learning journey I read an article called fishy false teeth. It is about a man called Cor Stoop who lost his upper dentures while in the north sea on a charter boat. A tackle shop owner found them in a fish when they were gutting them. They soon noticed that it was a practical joke and that they were his wives. We had to fill out some slides and near the end say the characters.
I liked reading the article because it was the easiest bit.
It was hard to add their purpose in the story because it was hard for me to remember.
Here is my slides:

Kia Ora Kylah,
ReplyDeleteI hope your having a really good holiday so far,
I like how you have explained it clear and it is easy to understand.
Comics are so fun to make especially this one because we got to do whatever we wanted!
I love how creative you were and it was really funny.
Keep blogging.
Ma Te Wa,

Kia Ora Kylah,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey.
I thought this activity was really fun as I enjoyed seeing all the cool and funny comic ideas everyone came up with.
I thought your template and comic was filled out well, your writing seemed similar to the original story but with your own unique comedic twist. I liked all the laughing and banter between the characters.
Next time you could upload just the template and comic rather than the whole slide.
I would like to know if you thought your comic was similar to the original video?
Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.
Ngā mihi nui,
Zana Yates
