Pigpen cipher code

Today for my summer learning journey I had to make a pigpen cipher code. We made a clue for a beach in Gisborne, then made a clue for it.

I liked learning about it because it was the easiest bit.

It was hard to make the code because it was a bit confusing.

Here is my pigpen:

  1. Kia Ora Kylah,

My name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey.

This activity is one of my favourites as I love code languages like pigeon code and also my Mum actually made this activity for the summer learning journey!!

You did an awesome job writing your code but were you able to decipher the code written in the activity? Now your code looked really tough to me and it took me a little while to figure out I think the clue is “this beach has an ice cream shop” so I am going to guess it might be Wainui Beach? That's a tricky one because a lot of beaches have ice cream shops.

Let me know if I guessed correctly or share what the correct answer is!

Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.

    Ngā mihi nui,
    Zana Yates
