Did you know, NASA launched the Apollo 11 on July 16, 1969? The Apollo 11 crew had three men on board. Neil Armstrong the Mission Commander, Edwin ‘Buzz’ Aldrin the lunar module pilot ( Who inspired Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story ) and Michael Collins the command module pilot.
Egyptians built the Great Pyramid of Giza in 85 years between 2589 and 2504 Before Christ? About 10,000 people were building them and 4,000 of them were slaves. the Giza is still there today!
Did you know, people started taming dogs more than 30,000 years ago which is more than 10,000 years before people tamed horses? The first dog ever to be tamed was the Bonn-Oberkassel dog. It looked quite like a wolf. It was tamed between 14,000 and 29,000 years ago.
I found it tricky to figure out where the small buttons were to push and open things like secret rooms because they were really well hidden. Especially in the Nasa one, Egypt one and Caveman one. I had to just explore looking for gold blocks with red buttons. Which, I gotta say, was pretty hard!
Next time I would try to take more screenshots of the buttons on gold blocks to show you what I was talking about because you would probably have no idea what I am talking about! I would also show you the images of the buildings to show you how amazing they are!
Thank you for reading my blog. Here are some slides with a few screenshots:

My name is Quein and I am a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. Ka mau te wehi! It looks amazing!! This is a fantastic post, you have put alot of detail and I can see that you have taken the time to conduct extensive research about ancient Egypt. Another interesting fact is that the Ancient Egyptians really enjoyed playing board games. I really like the activity in your slide where you ask you fellow bloggers to spot the difference and then you answer it on the next slide. I never knew that Edwin ‘Buzz’ Aldrin inspired the creation of BUZZ lightyear- Well done on putting a lot of effort into this activity and blog post
You should be very proud of your mahi
I am really looking forward to your next post
Remember to have a Super Summer!!!
Ngā mihi,

ReplyDeleteWow! You have included such a lot of information in your blog post.
I have never played Minecraft before so tkaing screen shots is a good way to show people like me how it all works.
I remember when Apollo 11 landed on the Moon - I was a kid and it was really exciting. I think the whole world stopped to watch it in tv.
