Today for my summer learning journey I had to make a scratch game on ice cream in moari. I drew the ice cream truck and the girl. It was really hard!
I liked filling out the slides because it was the easiest bit.
It was hard to make the game on scratch because there was not much I could do on it.
Next time if I had to do it again I would do different flavor ice cream
Here is my slide deck:
Kia Ora Kylah,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey.
I really enjoy these activities because I think it is important for everyone to learn and practice their Te Reo Māori. You completed the slides well and made some awesome ice cream flavours, which flavour is your favourite?
It is unfortunate that you could not upload your scratch how you wanted to but I can see from your video that you made the effort to create one, maybe next time you could embed your scratch to a google slide and upload it from there.
What was your favorite part of this activity and did you learn any new words?
Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.
Ngā mihi nui,
Zana Yates
Kia ora Zana!
DeleteI really enjoyed making the scratch. I will work out how to embed it over the next few days and try to get it to work. I didn't learn any new words but really enjoy using te reo when I can!
If you could choose an ice cream which flavour would you choose?
Mā te Wā,
Kylah
Kia ora Kylah,
ReplyDeleteyou have put a lot of work into this post with completing the slides and the Scratch project. Ka pai tō mahi!
I have had a lot of ice cream over the holidays and my favourite flavour is still Hokey Pokey. I wonder how we would say that in Te Reo Māori?
from Mrs Torrie
Kia Ora Mrs Torrie,
ReplyDeleteI have searched hokey pokey in maori and I don't think there is a maori word for it. What is your second favourite flavour?
Mā te Wā,
Kylah
