Today for my summer learning journey I had to make an ultraviolet wearable indicator. I chose to do korus because it is a kiwi thing. It has the name of each month so we know which one to wear. This would have been helpful yesterday because it was about a purple and I got burnt a lot!
I liked making the indicator because it was the easiest bit.
It was hard to make the necklaces because it was hard to make the koru.
Here is my slide deck:
Kia Ora Kylah,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey.
This is a very educational and informative blog post and right now is the best time to share it as we're getting into the hot summer season and it is important for everyone to practice being sun smart and sun safe. Your slides were very well done and I like the images you posted to support each slide.
I think your design is a great idea as a necklace is easy to wear, maybe you could create one necklace that you wear all year that changes colours based on how hot it is, kind of like a mood ring that changes colours.
Did you get a chance to look at the UV indicator activity, that could be a fun one to add to this post.
Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.
Ngā mihi nui,
Zana Yates
