Summer Sounds Poem

Today for my summer learning journey I had to make a summer sounds poem. I had to read a poem then go outside, record then listen to what I can hear. Then make it into a poem
I liked recording the video because it was the easiest bit.
It was hard to make the audio for the poem because it is very loud here in my house.
Next time if I had to do this again I would do it where it was not raining because that there is not many things in the rain but lots in the sun.
Here is my slide deck:

  1. Kia Ora Kylah,

My name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey.

I really enjoyed this poetry activity as I love reading and writing poems and summer is my favourite season!

I think your poem is awesome, you stuck to the summer theme well and what you could hear and see during a summer day and it is unfortunate that it has been such a wet summer but hopefully that clears up soon! What will you do as soon as you get some sunny weather?

You did a great job completing the slides and featuring your clip of your summer sounds, to step it up you could include a screencastify of you reading your poem.

Happy Holidays, Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.

    Ngā mihi nui,
    Zana Yates

I would go to Tolaga Bay when there is Sunny weather! It is my favourite place to go! What do you do in warm weather?
I did do a screencastify but I changed it to audio on slide 5.
